The school aims to develop students' language proficiency in English and Filipino so that they will:

• Acquire skills and competencies to communicate effectively orally and in writing in both English and Filipino.
• Appreciate and be sensitive to sociocultural diversity and understand that any form of communication depends on context, purpose and audience.
• Construct meanings and communicate them using creative, appropriate, and grammatically correct oral and written language. 
• Demonstrate eagerness to explore literature and media to communicate meanings and feelings effectively.

The student will have gained:

NJHS aims to develop students who:

• Are able to solve real world problems through computational and logical reasoning developed through the study of mathematics
• Recognize that mathematics permeates through the world around us and appreciate its beauty and practicality.

NJHS aims to produce students who are critical minded and seekers of truth who:

• Possess inquisitive minds and a curiosity about the natural world
• Make informed decisions based on scientific facts, accurate observations, and research
• Demonstrate scientific attitudes like open-mindedness, persistence, tolerance, and curiosity.

NJHS seeks to develop students with:

• An appreciation for music and art from various cultures and traditions from around the world
• An understanding of the relevance of music and art to culture, history, and human philosophy
• The ability to express themselves freely through creative, and artistic output with the tools and instruments of their choosing.

NJHS seeks to form persons who:

• Are physically and psychologically healthy.
• Possess health habits for their personal welfare and that of the community.                
• Cooperate with his home and his community in safeguarding and promoting health interests.
• Understand basic facts concerning health and diseases.
• Appreciate the importance of proper physical exercise for good health.

The school seeks to equip the students with basic competencies that enable them to:

• Secure a livelihood for themselves and their dependents through the development of adequate work skills and ethics
• Understand economic and entrepreneurial concepts that affect their livelihoods and finances
• Appreciate the satisfaction of good workmanship, and the positive contribution of their chosen vocations to their communities.

The school focuses on teaching  students how to effectively  use technology for communication, research and problem solving.

• Covers topics such as computer literacy, digital citizenship , software applications , internet safety and multimedia creation. 
• Equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a technology-driven world, preparing them for future academic and career pursuits.

The school seeks the well-rounded development of each student so that they are:

• Socially oriented and are ready to share and extend aid to the less fortunate. 
• Morally strong, displaying righteousness, courage, patience and determination under any circumstance.
