Senior High School Curriculum

The Senior High School Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for college, career and life beyond high school. 

Senior High School Tracks include: Academic Track and Technical, Vocational and Livelihood.

The Academic Track consists of the following strands:


Accountancy, Business and Management Strand

  • The ABM Strand is for those who plan to take up business-related courses in higher education or engage in business, entrepreneurship, and other business-related careers.


Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Strand

  • SHS students who are inclined toward, or have the aptitude for, Math, Science and Engineering studies can enroll in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Strand.


Humanities and Social Science (HUMSS) Strand

  • Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) Strand develops students’ critical thinking skills, analytical abilities and a deeper understanding of human societies and culture such as law, education, social work, journalism, public administration and research.


General Academic Strand (GAS)

  • This strand is ideal for SHS students who have not yet decided on a particular specialization. This strand allows for electives that may be a combination of related subjects from the other tracks or strands in the SHS curriculum

The school offers the Strands : Home Economics (HE) and Information and Communications Technology ( ICT Strand )


Home Economics (HE) Strand

  • This TVL component consists of specializations equivalent to qualifications under garments, tourism, health, processed food and beverages, and social and other community development service sectors. Students with home economics specializations will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, competencies, and values in taking care of oneself and one’s family, and in providing efficient services to others and to the community.


Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Strand

  • This TVL component consists of specializations equivalent to qualifications under the information and communication technologies sector. Students with ICT specializations will be able to demonstrate the skills, competencies, and values in effective application, use, and management of technology in the context of system designing and customer service.
